The Lyrics

Been a while since I submitted a Star Wars parody...
Why, this power is acrobatic,
It's charismatic, it's sooo dramatic
Why it's a Force lightning!

I got the power of the dark side, I’m gonna have some fun, oh yeah
(Keep Sithin', whoa keep Sithin' )
Rise up in the senate, and deceive everyone, oh yeah
(He’s got the dark side, you know he’s got the dark side)
With Mace Windu at my door, I’ll be giving him what-for
You know he don’t mean shit, when I give him lots of this…
Force lightning

Go, Force lightning, you're shootin’ out my fingertips
Force lightning, go Force lightning
Go, Force lightning, I’m blasting you to Jedi bits
Force lightning, go Force lightning
I am supreme, I’m Palpatine, with Force lightning

I’ll find a new apprentice and then I’ll take him in, oh yeah
Just like I did with Darth Maul, Dooku and then Anakin, oh yeah
Luke Skywalker’s on the floor, he can’t take it anymore
He says he won’t be turnin’, so now he will be burnin’
Force lightning

Go, Force lightning, I use it when you piss me off
Force lightning, go Force lightning
Go, Force lightning, it always makes me look so tough
Force lightning, go Force lightning
It’s not a crock, you’ll get a shock, with Force lightning

(long musical interlude)

Go, Force lightning, you're shootin’ out my fingertips
Force lightning, go Force lightning
Go, Force lightning, I’m blasting you to Jedi bits
Force lightning, go Force lightning
I am supreme, I’m Palpatine, with Force lightning
lightning, lightning, lightning
lightning, lightning, lightning… lightning!

(SOTM) Excellent!

Great OS choice. I'm not that familer with the early Star Wars and I don't remember Jedis being able to shoot lightning out of their fingertips during any of the later ones (And is that usually a Sith power anyways? Shouldn't it be "Sith Lightning"?) Still not bad, I liked "It's not crock, you'll get a shock"

Only 555 pounds of rubber can stop the 555 voltage of your force lightning. Add in a scene from John Woo's film and Palpatine is finished.

He-he, though I can easier imagine John Travolta as Jabba the Hut than a Sith Lord...

(SOTM) Funny subs, especially "I'm supreme, I'm Palapatine." Why not do an entire Grease parody with the Star Wars mythology? I betcha you could!

What Ag said, especially the "I'm supreme, I'm Palapatine." sub - tell me, was that the idea that sparked it off? It has that kind of feel to it.

(SOTM) You are really in love with Star Wars aren't you? I'm familiar with the particular characters/situations used in this parody so it worked for me. I don't really remember lightning shooting characters, but I imagined a bunch of "Storms" from X-Men in the scene, and then it worked for me.

(SOTM) I actually really, really liked this, Mikey....and I think Matty's idea of calling it "Sith Lightning" would really work. The idea of Palpatine rockin' away to this is VERY gigglesome. 555

(SOTM) The title sub seems so obvious, but it's one of those ones that you think 'Damn, why didn't I think of that?'. That being said, this was pretty cool. No real gut-busting lines, but makes you giggle.

(SOTM-Apr-08) Holy obi Won Kenobi - this force befits you. I can live with the lightning fingertips - it's your parody and you do have some lee-way with poetic liscense

Excellent rhyming and pacing, but like so many things Star Wars this went over my head.
