The Lyrics

I'm willing to bet that this year's killer application on the Internet is Online Gambling in general and Texas Hold'em especially, it seems like every third ad I see and a lot of the spam I receive is promoting some Poker Site, it's the worst hype since Dot-Com Stocks peaked a couple of years ago and now with the World Poker Championship going down in Las Vegas we're even (for the first time here anyway) getting headlines like "A gambling class hero" in the sports sections of our tabloids. And that's the sad story behind how I got the idea for this parody...
As soon as you're all in you're feeling the rush
But then comes a low pair instead of a flush
And the pot was so big that you're starting to lush
A gambling class loser's a long way from glee
A gambling class loser's a long way from glee

They beat you online and you still play the fool
You hate that you're never in fortune and cool
And then yo' democracy fatcats wallow'n yo' pool
A gambling class loser's a farked bourgeoisie
A gambling class loser's a farked bourgeoisie

Mobsters tortured and scarred you for all them odd bets
But whadd'ya expect when you'd bet on the Mets?
Then you're off to Las Vegas, you're prone to forget!
A gambling class loser ain't funny to see
A gambling class loser ain't funny to see

Tried to cope with Roulette and Black Jack and with Dice
'Cos you think you're so clever you'll blast the bank twice
But you're still counting markers to see if you'll suffice
A gambling class loser's a sad sight to see
A gambling class loser's a sad sight to see

There's one chance to six in a Russian Roulette
By then you must ante your house and Corvette
Since you whacked-a-mole you've gone downhill in debt
A gambling class loser ain't funny to be
A gambling class loser ain't funny to be

If you want to draw zero, self pity is free...
If you want to draw zero, self pity is free...

I'm totally anti-internet-gambling....unless the cards are stacked in my favour. ;-) 555

For those about to vote: You gotta know when to five 'em, know when to jive 'em, know when to yuk away, and know when it's dumb. It is now time to five 'em.

I've always thought that lotto in particular is fantastic, because you have almost exactly the same chance of winning if you enter it or if you don't - nice rhymes here, Peter - 555

Kristof: Well, the commonwealth still have a royal flush with a full house and a queen high.

Michael: Thanx!

Stuart: Yeah, that’s fantastic, what are the odds?

5: Hey! No drinks at table/keyboard, all right!?
