The Lyrics

I'm at
Tried to erase my sweat-making habits
Because I always end up in a daze
Out so late on my feet, but my moves aren't too sweet
Downing nice expensive brews and sleeping all day

So at night I'd end up hitting the streets
Sleep dancing to my head's beats
Not to Mamas & the Papas or the seventies
But to nineties grunge on my trunk with bare feet

Sleep dancing near my high-rise
Pajams was my disguise
I don't sleep naked, That wouldn't be nice
I'm just a sleep dancing near my high rise

Saw myself dancing on youtube again
I do the same moves, see my neighbors laughing
Bumping my head; I should have been in bed
Well I can't help it I have music in my head a-playing

Can't save face the whole world is a stage
Cause when I snore, I shakin with ease
No Macarena, it's much stranger, please do not ask me
But some David's head creation as my head dreams

Sleep dancing near my high-rise
Getting some air while twisting with closed eyes
Oh what on Earth is wrong with me guys
I'm keep sleep dancing near my high rise

I don't mind the shuffle or the wobble
But when I dance I look more like a bobble
No cha-cha sliding ain't no line dance I swear
Folks look at me funny and some stare in fear when I'm

Sleep dancing near my high-rise
Thumping my chest and grooving every night
Waking up with a shirt on would be nice
But I keep Sleep dancing near my high-rise
Why'm I Sleep dancing near my high-rise
I'm just a Sleep dancing near my high-rise

I don't mind the dougie or the shimmy
Electric slide or breaking down to Nicki
But Blas Nirvana and It'll catch my ear
Well my feet are aching; I do this all year

I sleep-read this and it made me want to sleep-dance in my jammies.

You might have been half asleep when you writing/typing this. A line or two here didnt make much sense. At one point, you said you are wearing pajamas as a disguise, but later you said you had no shirt. That was though a very funny image though of some not-quite physically svelte half-naked dude dancing out in the city streets at 3am. Like a segment from 'Cops' or something.

Sure hope this isn't a true story Dave. This was an interesting idea and I'm not going to be as anal about this as Aggy. All I'm going to say is that I enjoyed this.

If this was a music video you would acquire about fifty other dancers and they you all would sleep dance in a well choreographed way. Funny concept.

(Artistry) So grunge music to you is like Tom Jones to Carlton from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air? I guess crazy dancing is not unusual, then ;) Great stuff here, 555!

(Artistry) Not the safest of situations to dance under, but funny as heck!
