The Lyrics

I was scared that I'd be burning
My life flashing before my eyes
Cause the weather man
Said the next day
Would be three hundred degrees

The first thing I said
When the next night had come
After I took a sail
Oh thanks a lot
You dumb weatherman
You read from the Kelvin scale

If men doing weather
Say a sure hurricane
Then it could be a day without rain
To do weather, It don't require a brain
Cause there's fancy machines
To make your mistakes
La la la la la la la la la la la la

Then a new day ev'ry weather man
Predicted a lot of snow
I have to say that the weather can
Be a thing that nobody will know
I bundled up a lot
But the weather was hot
And the wind did not even blow

you see

If men doing weather
Say a sure hurricane
Then it could be a day without rain
To do weather, It don't require a brain
Cause there's fancy machines
To make your mistakes
La la la la la la la la la la la la

And then one day I turned off my tv
Since the weather was never right
I can guess as well
As weathermen
By taking a step outside

To know just what the weather
Will be like the next day
Is not something for me or you
Will it be pretty or a
Dark stormy day?
Well the humans will have no clue

You see

If men doing weather
Say a sure hurricane
Then it could be a day without rain
To do weather, It don't require a brain
Cause there's fancy machines
To make your mistakes
La la la la la la la la la la la la

Temperatures on the Kelvin scale actually represent higher real temperatures than Fahrenheit. 300 degrees Kelvin equals 572 Fahrenheit. Sorry to be so pedantic.

actually, sioux - kelvin starts at absolute zero which is -273 celsius and goes by the celsius scasle from there. so 300 kelvin is 27 celsius which is about 80 fahrenheit
