Well I woke from hibernation
Felt quite hungry as I dressed
So I asked my mom for porridge
'Cause I think that is the best
But it wasn't ready so we
Took a walk for a short time
When we came back home, there was a big surprise

Well when Poppa came, in he said
"Someone has sat in my chair"
And then Momma came in second, said
"They sat in mine, too, right there"
And I looked down in my corner
Mine was smashed beyond repair
And the porridge? Gone.
I'm crying in despair

Did you eat porridge? A little
Do I smell you in the air?

Did you do it on a dare?

Well my momma made it
I don't mind sayin'
I just can't take it

Well I went upstairs, still cryin'
Then we saw a new surprise
All the beds they looked just slept-in

I no longer felt despondent
At this Goldilocks girl find
Then you woke and saw us
Now your turn to cry

Now you're running through the forest
Think we'd chase you for fresh meat?
But don't worry, we're just hungry
And the porridge is a treat

Well we'll make more porridge
