| Parody Song Title: | "It Always Rains In Southern California" |
| Parody Written by: | Rex Ungericht |
It's the end of February 2005, and California has been experiencing a week of bad weather with all of the resulting damage.
Well I turned the TV on to catch the newscast
Seems another landslide took some houses down
There were some evacuations, and lots of cancellations
In town, all around
Seems it rans a lot in southern California
Seems like earthquakes aren't the only thing to fear
With all the thunder and the lightning,
Man, it's so frightening,
I fear living here
Power's out, and so is the train
Due to 30 inches of hard rain
A sinkhole's opened in the lane
And here comes the mud
It rains a lot in California
And man, they should warn ya
It floods, man it floods
Will you tell the folks back home, so far I've made it
Survived the avalanches and the hail
But the forecast for tomorrow
Is causing me more sorrow
A gale, it's a gale
Seems it rans a lot in southern California
Seems like earthquakes aren't the only thing to fear
With all the thunder and the lightning,
Man, it's so frightening,
I fear living here
Seems another landslide took some houses down
There were some evacuations, and lots of cancellations
In town, all around
Seems it rans a lot in southern California
Seems like earthquakes aren't the only thing to fear
With all the thunder and the lightning,
Man, it's so frightening,
I fear living here
Power's out, and so is the train
Due to 30 inches of hard rain
A sinkhole's opened in the lane
And here comes the mud
It rains a lot in California
And man, they should warn ya
It floods, man it floods
Will you tell the folks back home, so far I've made it
Survived the avalanches and the hail
But the forecast for tomorrow
Is causing me more sorrow
A gale, it's a gale
Seems it rans a lot in southern California
Seems like earthquakes aren't the only thing to fear
With all the thunder and the lightning,
Man, it's so frightening,
I fear living here

LOL, You should come to the Central Valley. It will feel just like home.
Looks like the original is become obsolete these days.
You got your info right. People complain when it doesn't rain so they get it with a vengance.
Socal got monsoons. Norcal's probably gonna get stuck paying for the Bay Bridge boondoggle.
I just got back from southern California, and it rained a lot of the time I was there. Good parody. 5's
