The Lyrics

When Mel Gibson had his drunk-driving arrest and his anti-Semitic response to it, I had 4 parodies ready to go the next day. When he flipped out at his Russian girlfriend over the phone, and she released the tapes, it seemed like another parody "perfect storm." But I guess I have more of a life now, because it took me this long to sock it to him.
Whoa.
He loved
that Russian.
He hungered for
her touch
a long
lonely time.

His wife
he left
so slowly.
These two
they did
so much.
But now...
a crime...

So ends their love.
So ends their love.
Good grief.
Their love?
Hoo-ee!

Angry Gibson yells
from the sea
to the sea.
Oceans pouring pro-
fanity, yeah!
Baby mama, cry?
Not for she.
Not for she.
She stands up to him.
World War 3?

Whoa!
That Mel!
He threatened
to kill her!
Kill her
with his touch!
He'll serve
lots of time!

He hates
the blacks
and women!
The Jews, we knew, so much!
He's lost
his miiiiiiiind!

He neeeeeeeeds some drugs!
Va-a-a-alium drugs!
Godspeed those drugs
to....
him!

(instrumental close)
From what I hear, she's no prize, either, but if there's a high road in all this, she's a lot closer to it than he is.

Ha, ha, funny, and yet, so sad...great job of summing up the Mel situation, John...but I think you've could have named it, "Unchained MEL, You See"..but your title choice is fine, too

Interesting take on a drug problem: he's not taking enough of them. Did I hear him quoted as saying to his girlfriend "You are the victim of my insanity"? Most of what i've heard so far on the scandal shows sounds like dialogue from one of his movies. I always thought he was a pretty good actor. Maybe he wasn't really "acting" at all.

Just checked out the contributions from Scotti and 2Eagle, and they're great, too.
