Sales for clearing, spend unearned cash using their express,
As they trot through shop and store the malls are quite a mess.
They're buying boots and walking shoes and buying by the ton,
After Christmas shopping season is the reason for all this fun.

See those shoppers at the mall,
Outside traffic's at a crawl.
Bank accounts are overdrawn, what the heck, they're havin' fun.
Buying blank diskettes, or zapping sales with lights of blue,
The stuff their buying, they haven't a clue.

You can't afford it that's OK, it's yours no money down,
The price is cheap but interest's steep your judgement is not sound.
Hey on the right those Christmas lights are just two ninety-nine.
You buy 'em now but they get lost come round next Christmas time.
