Original Song Title:

"Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka-dot Bikini"

Original Performer:

Brian Hyland

Parody Song Title:

"Grumpy, Happy, Dopey, Sneezy, Bashful, Doc and Sleaz-, oops Sleepy"

Parody Written by:

Phil Alexander

One of those where I couldn't believe that this hadn't been done already.. so I might have rushed it. If it seems like I've plagiarized some of the ideas from Spaff's 'I Feel Happy', you're probably right.

Tup-tup-tup-tup, a-tup-tup-tup-tup-tup
She was afraid to come out of the forest
She was afraid of her stepmother queen
She was afraid to go into that cottage
She was afraid little people were mean

Two, three, four - tell the people what she saw:

Well, she saw:
Grumpy, Happy, Dopey, Sneezy, Bashful, Doc and S-S-Sleepy
Seven dwarfs lining up in her way
Grumpy, Happy, Dopey, Sleepy, Bashful, Doc and Ah-choo Sneezy
And in their cottage they said she could stay

Two, three, four - stick around, I'll tell you more.

Tup-tup-tup-tup, a-tup-tup-tup-tup-tup
She was surprised when she woke in the cottage
For no blanket around her she wore
She was surprised by sensations of frottage
With the dwarfs all around on the floor

Two, three, four - now who feels a little sore?

'Cause she felt:
Grumpy, Happy, Dopey, Sneezy, Bashful, Doc and Sleaz-, oops Sleepy
And she felt that they liked it that way
Dumpy, Happy, Gropey, Sleepy, Bashful, Doc and (oh, God!) Sneezy
('cept for Doc, 'cause he might have been gay)

Two, three, four - now's who's bein' a little whore?

Tup-tup-tup-tup, a-tup-tup-tup-tup-tup
Now she's afraid to go eating an apple
She's afraid she'll get step-mother's goat
Though it wasn't her step-mother's apple
But cucumber got stuck in her throat

Two, three, four - maybe she should swallow more

She swallowed:
Grumpy, Happy, Dopey, Sneezy, Mouthful, Dic and kinda Sleazy
Even Grumpy was Happy that day
Dumpy, Slappy, Gropey, Sappy, Bashful, Doc and very Happy
Then Prince Charming came riding her way

From the forest to the cottage
From the cottage to the dwa-
rfs
From the dwarfs to Prince Charming
Is that happy ever a-
fter?

Fives for what certainly the first use of "frottage." This parody rubbed me just the right way.

:-D Thanks, everybody... and loads of new names, too...

Alvin - I guess Snow White is, too..

JB - not the first: ISTR using it a long, long time ago in a galaxy not so far away (my first "Be Our Guest" parody, back in 2003)

AFW - that's snow joke

Fiddlegirl - that's how I like it... and with a name like that, I'm guessing you might, too ;-)

NHoD - < ? ? ? >

SOTM: Hilarious title change, and the parody is just as good! 555s easily.

SOTM - This was one of my favorites last month. Glad it's in the contest.

Phil - You sure you got the right girl here in your parody? She seems more like Ho White than Snow White. Anyway a brilliant Ho Write. I liked how you handled Doc in that one line - you couldn't fit him in so you just declared him to be gay. Nice touch.
Phil Alexander - August 17, 2009 - Report this comment
Yes, Guy - as a parody genius once commented: that's why they greet her "Hi Ho!"

Makes you wonder about Goldilocks and the three bears too I'd say... :-)

If "I Feel Happy" hadn't come out at the same time, this would have been the gold standard. As it is, silver to Spaff is nothing to Sneezy at. Good write.
Matthias - August 29, 2009 - Report this comment
Spaff had the same idea and podiumed with it already... Sorry Phil, I loved this but it was too much like Spaff's "I Feel Happy"

(SOTM) LOL funny from start to finish!!!...555!!!

(SOTM) Ah, what fun it is to completely turn classic tales on their heads, fueling them with sex and/or violence. This parody is a clear example of the former. 555!

(SOTM) I couldn't help but get into this one. The TOS begs to be parodied hundreds of times (and yet it really hasn't been) I haven't seen a bad parody of this since I first read Jeff Reuben's version, but this one is really good too, The use of the dwarves. . .hahaha. It does have some similarities to the song that inspired it, but I felt differently than others as to what ratio that was, personally--Spaff's is more focused on Snow White--yours is more focused on the 7 dwarfs . . .very funny!
