The Lyrics

(feat. Lauren Bennett) Paul Rudd is probably my favorite actor, and it looks like he's gaining a lot more than fans. Note: His movies referenced in this spoof are "I Love You, Man", "Wet Hot American Summer", "Anchorman", "This Is 40", "Wanderlust", "Dinner For Schmucks" and "Knocked Up". Most of them are just the titles, but others have references from the movies...just a heads up. Original Song
Baby, Baby
Think you should take a seat
Baby, Baby
Think our love is disappearing
Yeah, think we should see new people
I already know my guy...
And oh yeah, he’s famous out in Los Angeles...
I’m moving there tonight!

Don’t mean to mess with your head
I know I’ve broken your heart
but you just weren’t my type.
Want to solve this mystery?
Just log on IMDB
and this is what you’ll type-

Paul Rudd!
Isn’t he so dreamy?
Paul Rudd!
Oh I want his babies!

Baby, baby
I just don’t know what to say now
Well she’s just crazy...
‘Cause tonight, packed up and left town
I don’t think that she’s joking, she saw his “joben”
He seems like a girlfriend guy
One hot American summer, smelled his Sex Panther
Works sixty percent each time

Who knew that “I Love You, Man”
It did not come from her heart
But when she saw his eyes
Went and saw “This Is 40”
A Wanderlust fantasy
Now I’m alone tonight...

Damn you Paul Rudd!
Oh, she left me baby!
Paul Rudd!
Why’d you steal her from me!?

Just had dinner, so fancy
But he looks like a big schmuck to me!
Goofy smile right on his face...
He’s tappin’ her like a bass!

Paul Rudd!

Paul Rudd!
Why’d you steal her from me?!
Knocked up!
Now she’ll have his baby!

She’s Mrs. Paul Rudd
Left me for Paul Rudd
She found celeb love
I’ll ask Kate Upton!

There are many American actors out there nowadays whom I couldnt know from any random guy walking on the street. Mr. Rudd would be one, so quite a few of the references were lost to me. However you get high marks from me for lots of clever word subs and on the nose pacing..

(Artistry) Yes! Awesome pacing and rhymes, and a really unique concept made me really enjoy this. I'm a huge movie buff and a HUGE Paul Rudd fan so this was kind of made for me. I loved all your references, they were funny and smartly done. Loved this!

Now that I think about it, something about the movie titles...ha.

(Artistry) Interesting concept, but as I haven't seen any of the films you mentioned, this was really lost on me. Also, I liked how Lauren Bennet's bit at the start was from the GF's point of view, but you didn't carry it through to the rest of the parody, which was a tad disappointing. Top notch pacing, though.
