This one's about a sport i actually played in highschool and college
It's been a mile
Since there were those slower than I

But the fact is that I have got to run one mile more

I just cannot say
I guess I enjoy pain

Since I could say that I felt great
And it's been a mile since I had no worries
And it's been a mile since I was close to the runner in the lead
And it's been a mile but I will still hope for a second wind of speed
