Parody Written by:

You bought shares till our accountants said "cheerio"
well there could be debt, but enrons not bankrupt no
You bought shares till our accountants said "cheerio"
and its now got enough in debt here, oh no

you liked Bush til you found that they funded him
but he robbed his votes from gore while you wern't watching
you say pay outs come to those who wait
but enrons staff ain't getting none of it.

I remember Ken Lay
When he was so eager to stay out of court
he owns more than you do
so can prove he can stay out of jail

Now enron is bankrupt
and their employees are at the job shop
so still you curse Ken Lay
he's decided to move out to brazil

He said its not his fault Andersons hired
but i see accounts placed into a fire
but from his mouth i have seen a string of rubbish
accountancy careers, a lot of them may be finished

the books they change from a dark black to bright red
to the point where they use shredders here instead
they say that they'd kill people if the truth got out
when dealing with peoples money, the truth would not get out

I remember Ken Lay
When he was so eager to stay out of court
he owns more than you do
so can prove he can stay out of jail

Now enron is bankrupt
and their employees are at the job shop
so still you curse Ken Lay
he's decided to move out to brazil

Its much easier just to burn
and declaring profit
than to go bankrupt as you should do
not breaking even

accounts burn or get shredded
the furnace they're headed
squeal or don't make a sound
as the share price keeps going down
because they're so adept at lies

I remember Ken Lay
When he was so eager to stay out of court
he owns more than you do
so can prove he can stay out of jail

Now enron is bankrupt
and their employees are at the job shop
so still you curse Ken Lay
he's decided to move out to brazil
