Heh, thanks hguys..I actually do use DSL, I jsut had an idea fior the parody and ran with it..very few parodies of mine are autobiographical..."Veronica (Diamond)" is, "Girl All the Fanboys Want" is quasi-true, but I've never had a rhino smash through my living room wall, tho :)
Sorry, Jared..before posting parody, I did a search of a "Moment Like This"...I saw "A Quotient Like This", but not your similar "Modem" version...(What date did you post it?)..Maybe it was my slowww modem.... (:
I already heard this song under another author's name. Did you copy his song?
I doubt Jared copied it, he's posted several songs here before, and he's good enough that he doesn't need to be copying anyone elses songs. It's also clear that zvoidx's song was written completely separate of Jared's version. And finally, Modem/Moment are close enough that I'm not surprised that multiple people came up with the same idea.
