10CC's, "From Rochdale to Ocho Rio"
The Lyrics:
From Rochdale to Ocho Rios
From Ocho Rios to Dorking
From Dorking it's back to Rochdale
From Rochdale to Ocho Rios
You spend half your life in transit
But where are we now?
Why:
Full circle. As if the trip from Rochdale (Greater Manchester) to Dorking (Surrey) v.v. isn't long enough, it really is a long haul travelling between those three places as Ocho Rios is in the north of Jamaica.

10CC's, "Tokyo"
The Lyrics:
Transistorised and anodised
Chrome plated, squeaky clean
Oh Tokyo, oh Tokyo
Oh Tokyo I love you
You're trembling, you're choking
But you're magical to me
Why:
Lyrics and music in fact form a contrast. The words refer to the modernity of the city with its dense population ('you're choking') and its bullet trains and what have you, while the music has that sound of oriental mystique.
