Real Lyrics -> Bad Grammar in Song Lyrics -> Stephen Stills

Song lyrics aren't supposed to be a fountain of perfect english, but on the other hand some are just so atrocious, they need to get called out. We're not looking for sentance fragments or the word ain't since there are too many instances to count.

Stephen Stills', "Love The One You're With"
The Lyrics:
She's a girl, and you're a boy.
... and if you can't be with the one you love,
Honey, love the one you're with.
Why:
The song certainly seems relentlessly heterosexual ... but ... he specifically says, "you're a boy" and then addresses the person being sung to as "honey" ... ?
