Real Lyrics -> Bad Grammar in Song Lyrics -> Sesame Street (TV)

Song lyrics aren't supposed to be a fountain of perfect english, but on the other hand some are just so atrocious, they need to get called out. We're not looking for sentance fragments or the word ain't since there are too many instances to count.

Bad Grammar in Song Lyrics, Sesame Street (TV)

Check out the index.

Sesame Street (TV)'s, "Me Lost Me Cookie at the Disco"
The Lyrics:
Me lost me cookie at the disco (Please come back)
Me lost me cookie in the boogie music
Me lost me cookie at the disco
Me want it back (I want it back)
Me want it back again
Why:
It should be this: I lost my cookie at the disco, I lost my cookie in the boogie music, I lost my cookie at the disco, I want it back (I want it back) I want it back again. But Cookie Monster prefers to say "me" instead of "I" or "my".
