Music Trivia -> Same Title, Different Song -> Break Away

There's only so many unique two word or three word titles that can be invented before groups begin to recycle titles. There's nothing wrong with that of course, but it can be confusing if you're trying to sort out what song is a cover of another song. This section lists songs with identical titles, but different lyrics. To help us keep track of which songs are which, the first two lines of each unique song are listed.

"Break Away"

The following are all the different songs that are titled "Break Away". Check out the index for more examples of songs that have Same Title, but a Different Song.

I've made my reservation,
I'm leaving town tomorrow
(Hyphenated as "Break-A-Way"; redone by Tracey Ullman as "Breakaway".)

(scat singing for two lines)
Grew up in a small town
And when the rain would fall down
I'd just stare out my window.
[Editor's note: the song title is actually one word, "Breakaway", in this case.]

Don't need permission anyway
