Band Name Origins:

  • It was Eric Clapton's band, right after his first solo album came out, but he was too shy or reclusive to name the band after himself. So It was Derek instead of Eric so "nobody would know". The Dominos just fit, alliteratively. Submitted by: dmitch

Story about this misheard lyric by: Evan

I was doing a project for school about Eric Clapton. As I was listening to this song, surprisingly, I misheard him talking about eating peas. I listened again, and then I heard the actual lyrics. After this hilarious experience, I made my own song with those words.
