Song Parodies -> Recordings -> Fred Landau, and MJ & KJ, 'Always Some For You When We Need to Ration' Comments

May 18
a parody of "Always True To You In My Fashion" by Ella Fitzgerald
They might as well just admitted it here in New York: If you were rich, you got the testing and the ventilators. Imagining the special VIP triage desk in the ER for the rich people.

Well, that wasn't necessarily true if you were RICH... more like if you were CONNECTED. There's definitely some overlap there, but money only counted insofar as it bought you influence with the local politicians and their cronies. Of course, a lot of rich people didn't need testing and ventilators anyway, as they had the means and motive to flee to their out-of-state vacation homes at the first whiff of trouble.
