Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Presenting the 17th Annual Bjork Awards form the worst in Oscar fashion. This may have been, collectively, the worst I've ever seen.
God! Dress! Oy! Scary, gentlemen!
The Oscars did dismay.
A nightmare all in ruffled pink:
Maya Rudolph's display!
And Kacey Musgrove looked like loofahs
used and thrown away!
Oh, clothing, no comfort or joy.
Comfort or joy.
Oh, clothing, no comfort or joy.

Red leather worn by Rachel Weisz.
Laurel tiara, Rome.
In red was Linda Cardellini.
Should have stayed at home.
Olivia Colman in dark green
on back, gigantic bow.
Oh, clothing, no comfort or joy.
Comfort or joy.
Oh, clothing, no comfort or joy.

I'm venting, so's Sarah Paulson.
She got bad ratings, lots.
Megan Mullaly, no cougar
but like a leopard, spots.
A hoodie on Lydia Hearst
that she should have forgot.
Oh, clothing, no comfort or joy.
Comfort or joy.
Oh, clothing, no comfort or joy.

Even some of the gentlemen
wore something to dismay.
Half-tux, half gown of black velvet?
Billy Porter, no slay.
Pharrell in camo tux and shorts?
He should have stayed away!
Oh, clothing, no comfort or joy.
Comfort or joy.
Oh, clothing, no comfort or joy.

No mention of politics at all, and this got 7 one-bombs? I think we have a bot problem here.

It's your brand, Mike, not your content. Like the way some people refuse to eat at Chipotle ever again.

Unfortunately, the amiright brand has largely become reactionary, nativist trollism.

As illustrated by all the berzerk pro-Trump parodies, right BN?

Pacholek, I didn't vote on this entry, but I rejoice in seeing that the seeds you planted years ago have spread to your own yard. You were one of the first cultural Marxists to do this to others (myself included) based strictly on politics, so spare us the poutrage.

Read my lips - no more politics. As for the topic of this parody - well done. The Oscars aren't known to be tasteful.

'fraud not, CML. The Trump parodies only go after Trump, who's a public figure. The rampant troll flames attack parodists more viciously than any parody hits Trump.

Also, he doesn't know what the hell a Marxist, cultural or otherwise, is.

"The Trump parodies only go after Trump"? Wrong. They often attack those who support him (as in "Trumpies" and much worse) and accuse them of vile things I won't repeat here. So don't play the innocent card--it's disingenuous. And the hateful, unimaginative, and yes, trollish political parodies are ruining the site.
