The Lyrics

I've had this sitting for weeks. New Year, new slate, time to clear everything , start fresh, see what happens.
The waiter is wide
He will not come over
And neither has he
Brought me a plate
Get me some bread
Just something to chew
And we shall dine
Cause it's getting late

The big sign said
All you can eat
And starving so
I wanted meat
I did not go
To the buffet
That big buffoon
Brought me no tray

It seemed like nothing
Would get him here
Until I yelled
"Move your fat rear!"
I guess I got
What I deserve
Didn't know this place
Was all self-serve
You know where we are.

Self-serve! Now that's an unexpected twist! Funny...
