The Lyrics

I was driving along when these three stanzas strolled into my head. However, when I went home to write the rest of the song...I realized that the original only has three stanzas! Oh well...just more of my LOTR stuff...as sung by Frodo, obviously...
I'm walking along
To a place I dread
Something I wouldn't usually do
And although I know
It's a long road there
I promise you...

I will walk to Mordor
To destroy The Ring
Smeagol knows the way to go
He'd never try to deceive me

Someday soon you'll find me
At that pit of fire
I will walk to Mordor
If just to save the Shire

To quote something Bob Gomez wrote on one of my parodies a while ago, "By the way--take this for what it's worth--I never feel constricted by the length of the original song. In fact, I frequently add extra verses and write multiple versions of the same chorus to fit in more jokes." It's good advice, I think.

I certainly considered doing another round of the stanzas...simply to add more...but then i thought i've written so much LOTR stuff... maybe less is more this time...thanks for the advice, though...
