Parody Song Title:

"This Song's a Bummer, Boy"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Boy, this song is so dumb-dumb-dumb-dumb
Supposed to represent a drum-drum-drum-drum
I never heard one that went "rum-pum-pum-pum"
When e'er I hear it I need tum-tum-tum-Tums
Tum-tum-tum-Tums, tum-tum-tum-Tums

Think I'd rather have a stick up my bum
It's that dumb

Even babies know this song is dumb
You hear it all your life till your brain is numb
I've tried to stuff my ears with slightly-chewed gum
Or maybe fill my gut with rum-rum-rum-rum
Rum-rum-rum-rum, rum (BURP) rum-rum-rum

I think I'd rather have my mouth full of scum
It's that dumb

When I shopped I heard a caroling bum
He had an old guitar on which he did strum
I stuck a finger out, it wasn't my thumb
I think he knew by then I wasn't his chum
Tipping no sum, gave him no crumb

He sang "Oh Christmas Tree"
Ad infinitum
Boy, was I dumb

Highlander, now you can write, "O Dumb Mall, Be Grateful".

The part I don't get is that "The ox and ass kept time." Isn't that the drummer's job? And I've never seen a drummer boy in any nativity scene. Shepherds and wise men, yes, but never a drummer boy. Must be one of those modern creations, such as the additions of Rudolph and Frosty (and Christmas isn't even mentioned in Frosty"s song)!
