(boing, boing, boing, boing, boing, boing, boing..the scale
it has been sprung) x 2
Mr. Yo-yo, the diet King
Been on all diets that I've ever seen
He has two hips like rolls that are clover
And a belt with his stomach flowing over.
Yo-yo, go it alone
Don't have no body that's fat as yourn.
Please keep on your diet scheme
Mr. Yo-yo, bring me a dream.
Mr. Yo-yo, your diet schemes
They are the poorest that I've ever seen.
Eat like a bird, then think it's all over.
Then gain it back with extra pounds moreover
Yo-yo, go it alone
Don't think I'm ready to drop a stone
Please keep on your diet scheme
Mr. Yo-yo, bring me a dream.
Mr. Yo-yo ( "Yesss?") use this regime
Give it some care try slowly and you'll reach your dream
I hear your stinky farts don't get near, graci.
Eat lots of gravy and chocolates made by Baci
Mr. Yo-yo, a ton I hold (a ton I hold)
You'd be so peachy for me to behold
Please keep on your diet scheme
Mr. Yo-yo, bring me a dream.

I'll check that out- yours was good 2 -5s.
Thanks, kitkat
I kinda wanted to see a 'walk the dog' somewhere in there, but the theme turned out not to be about yo-yo's at all. It fits the original, and I enjoyed it, but some of the lines didn't really 'fit the fat guy' so to speak. Methinks a 5-4-5, and it will probably make more sense in a year or two. Most of your parodies don't seem deep at first but then I reread them later and for some reason, I enjoy them more.
Thanks, 2nz!
Great job as usual, adagio. I voted 5-5-5 on this yesterday but forgot to comment.
Thanks, Serafina!
