The Lyrics

And exercise in dairy product lust. Extra contest points if anyone can name some I missed.
See the Colby sitting in the pantry
By the Feta on a Friday night
A little Provolone by the crackers
Gee, I hope the Parmesan's alright

Some are cheese on which I dine
Salads that have Roquefort are so fine
Some are Bries served with good wine
Slices of American are mine

See the Cheddar lying on the table
Smell of Gouda from the house next door
Now I go and buy me some Edam
Maybe Muenster and a dozen more

Some are cheese on which I dine
Salads that have Roquefort are so fine
Some are Bries served with good wine
Slices of American are mine

Sweet Mozzarella, it's playin' my tune
Monterey Jack here is making me swoon
When I come home and eat me some Swiss
And it's waiting there, just a slab of some Brick

See the nachos waiting in the kitchen
I'm in love with Limberger for two
Smell the Bleu that wants my attention
Now the taste of Camembert is due

Some are cheese on which I dine
Salads that have Roquefort are so fine
Some are Bries served with good wine
Slices of American are mine

Leiderkrantz--smells like soiled pants. A delightfully cheesy parody.

I've been trying to come up with a workable idea for this tune for weeks. Very nicely done.

Rick - This musta been an act of Feta...I was out for a drive in this morning in the VERY early morning hours (actually I was still awake from Sunday night, too hot & muggy down here lately...couldn't sleep. Went down PCH past Palos Verdes and in Lomita I decide I'm hungry and don't want fast food. Next thing I know I'm sitting at a "Norm's" restaurant for the first time in a about 25 or 30 years, ordering...Chicken Parmesan...??? What the hell was I thinking? At FOUR in the freaking morning? But it was very good...However, my stomach is KILLING me this morning...5's for you here.

"Some are Bries" Nice homonym with the original. As the commercial says, behold the power of cheese.
