Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"His Partner Fell; the Dude's. . . ."

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

His partner fell; the dude’s
Now scared of heights.

He was a cop, but now he’s screwed
And not tryin’
To do much, bidin’
His time till he lands a
Job followin’ ’round
A babe named Madeleine.
But she ascends a tower, falls down.

At her death knell the dude
Is far from fine—
Not fine.

Then a new
Girl’s in view;
He says, “You
Will please do for me now
This—that is, wear
Wardrobe picked my me.
She too falls down—
It’s eerie!

Now it’s that Elster dude
Who will do time.

JAB - Spoiler alert. I know what you're referencing. Clever work here as usual. ;D

The reference to the 'zoom and pull out' camera shot down the tower shaft is one of the classic in-camera effects of cinema. Nice read.
