The Lyrics

My 3rd installment to the "Xmas Pink Floyd The Wall" project. The "phone call" part is VERY loosely based on the Live version of this song. This is seriously warped by the end.
[intro, kid sings this part]

I unwrap a new toy
This present makes me frown..
What is with this X-Box?
You're gonna know this present's unsound!

WHAAA.......! It's such a crappy Christmas!
WHAAA.......! What's with this lousy gift?

Will somebody please call ol' St. Nick..
Tell that guy he's a real prick!
Tell that Northy-Pole, presents lean
Dumb Santa what I need!

WHAAA.......! I want a new PlayStation!
WHAAA.......! I'm wanting all the games!

[long solo, meantime kid keeps yelling, mother finally
gives in to her ungrateful, ADD having devil offspring]

'kay........ I'll place a call to Santa
'kay........ I'm calling the North Pole

[interlude, mom has reached phone operator]

[numbers being dialed, ring tone]
{Santa Claus} "Hello?"
{Operator to Santa Claus} "This is the United States calling,
we have a request for a Play...
{Santa Claus} "What the f***?!"
[Santa hangs up phone]
[Dial tone again, auto dial back]
{Operator to Santa Claus} "This is the United States calling,
is anyone there?"
{Phone is dead}
{Operator to Mother} "I don't know mam, he just keeps hanging up"
{Mother to Operator} "What a prick!"
{Operator to Mother} "The charge for this call will be 300 dollars,
will you be using Visa or.."
{Mother to Operator} "What the f***?
[Mother hangs up on operator, commences to beat her son]
{Operator to co-workers} "What a b*tch!"

What a foulmouthed household! Nice continuity with the brat. Good stuff with the phone, too (that is also heard on the LP version, thanks for doing that!). 555

DKTOS, so I'm going by pacing rep. Yea...some household there! 5's

5s for this true-spirit-of-Christmas tune

sounds like someone made the "naughty" list

perhaps these three $5's will help to offset the fowl atmosphere in that house.

Thanks Agrimorfee, Pat, John, Alvin, and Carol. Agrimorfee, I remember the LP had the phone call as well, it isn't so clearly heard on the Live version (and is perhaps slightly different) as it is fading out and there's crowd noise too. And, thanks for bearing with the major liberties I took with the choruses on rhyming.

How about a Natalie Coal CD for this guy's stocking. 555

Thanks Rick, that or perhaps a Paula Cole CD.

Or Cole Porter. Or the Coal Porters. Another good one, Red. I thought about tackling this one - it was gonna be about a guy wanting an inflatable plastic woman for Christmas. I'm glad you got to it first.
