My music hobby is performing old songs (mainly 30’s through 70’s). I write funny parodies for some of them. I change the song’s serious theme to something funny but retain original lyrics and rhyme as much as possible. This one got started by changing the song theme from Help Me Make It Through the Night to Help Me Make It Through the Flight.
I’m on this airplane in the air
And I hope it doesn’t fall
And my nerves are getting thin
I see shadows on the wall
The plane keeps tilting side to side
In the early morning light
I’m not having a good time

I knew things were going wrong
When the captain held my hand
And I threw up on the floor
