Fighting in baseball (like other pro sports, unfortunately) has gotten to the point where people joke that they came to watch a fight and a baseball game broke out. After I read about one too many such fights in the newspaper, I decided to make a point by writing this. I hope one day to perform it at Wrigley Field.
Take me away from the brawl-game
Where players are constantly fighting
Over the bad calls the umpire makes
Over the bad balls the batter takes
On the shin, so he charges the mound
And they let loose for another round
And it's one, two punches, I'M OUT
of the old ballpark!
Take me away from the brawl-game
It's just gotten too violent
I came to watch baseball, not a boxing match
I demand my money back!
If the players are acting like street thugs
Then I'll just go somewhere else
Because violence should have no place
in a baseball game.

I am damn proud of my version. Kick Me Out of The Ballpark. And i like mine a ton more. If this is yours Me McVey, i loved a few of the things i have seen of yours, but on this one, hey mines better. sorry. when this gets a few votes i will vote the average. sorry.
Fortunately, or maybe unfortunately, this is as much my work as the other parodies I have posted. It happens to be one from several years back, but it is mine nonetheless.--MM

Im going to a Minor league game soon. I hope this doesn't happen when I go. It's my 2nd game that Im going to.
