I'm up all night to get them right
My yearly income taxes
I wonder why they are so high
I can't afford these taxes
These forms presume financial doom
From all the different taxes
You gotta love the way they shove
Out bills for more new taxes

I scream and wail to no avail
As I fill out my taxes
They really must think I am flush
To charge me all these taxes
I wish that I had "til July
To pay these lousy taxes
They've got the gall to take it all
I need a break from taxes!

I'm with you on this, fellow indentured servant. Oh, and if some people had their way, it could also be "undentured" servant--I read about some authorities who were gonna take away a guy's gold teeth for payment due. Thankfully, they were found out and stopped.

Not a big fan of Midis I set out for the real thing, but only found a version by The Sherokees, however that was more than enough, now I'm sitting here with a big smile (and an empty wallet). :-)

Cool title switch, universally unpopular target (others on this topic by Red Ant and moi), "scream and wail to no avail" nice internal rhyme. Form 5, in triplicate (For instructions, see Publication 53439Xqfs, ...attach suplement 39900.... ad nauseam.)

Excellent title and timing; and I, too, agree with the well expressed sentiment.

I'm probably late for this one...but I think it's clever. I was up late doing taxes this year myself.
