The Lyrics

Whee, I had fun with this. Rewriting G&S is always a challenge, but this needed doing. For added fun, name some people that fit the theme here.
I am a famous model and a media celebrity
The information in my head won't get me far on Jeopardy
I don't know who the candidates are running for State Senator
But I know all the rock chicks like Madonna and Pat Benator
I'm very well acquainted with the Star and the Enquirer
I don't like Aguilera, but now Britney, I admire her
Don't understand my car or where the oil or the dipstick goes
But when I'm getting mod'ling jobs I know just where the lipstick goes
(Chorus)
(And when she's getting mod'ling jobs she knows where lipstick goes) X3

I'm very good at smiling big and nodding when something is said
Although when all those guys make jokes they sail o'er my pretty head
In short, the knowledge in my brain won't get me far on Jeopardy
I am a famous model and a media celebrity

I'm really bad at history, I don't know who Abe Lincoln was
It's ugly guys that teach it and I figure that's what thinkin' does
I only watch my MTV because I just don't get the news
But I can walk the runway without falling in stiletto shoes
I have to watch my diet though I eat junk when I feel an urge
As long in the bathroom afterwards I give my meal a purge
I know a lot of music (if it's written after '98)
I don't have any difficulty when I need to find a date
(Chorus)
(She hasn't any trouble when she needs to find a date) X3

I never heard of Mensa, never took a silly I.Q. test
I stand around and look real good, it is the thing that I do best
In short, the knowledge in my brain won't get me far on Jeopardy
I am a famous model and a media celebrity

The fact is I know what is meant by "Giorgio" and "Armani"
It's all I need to know to keep my pampered life in harmony
My personal assistant strives to cater to my every whim
The mem'ry of the last I fired is becoming very dim
I make a lot of money but it never buys me happiness
But boy, it sure beats putting up with "skilled employment" crappiness
My agent keeps me busy cause I'm almost pushing twenty-four
For this career is short, when pretty girls there are a-plenty more
(Chorus)
(Cause this career is short for there is always plenty more) X3

I'll let the nerds and geniuses do physics and probe outer space
For me, I got to go get dressed and do my makeup/powder/face
In short, the knowledge in my brain won't get me far on Jeopardy
I am a famous model and a media celebrity
And a new funny song on Soundclick! See above. Yes, way above! Right there, under "Mariwanna". Just follow the aroma.....

this was very well written... where is the messageboard it says it's still coming back to life. I'm hoping the contests will be on a normal schedule but a week late depending on when the boards come back.

Splendid. Bitchin'. Other superlatives. Some grrrreat rhymes in this - too many to name 'em all, but "Benator" stood out. Love it.

I only scanned the titles of previous MMG parodies when I wrote mine, so I didn't realize yours used the idea of a 'model' as well. This is excellent.

Still an excellent read, Rick, and I still enjoy the Lincoln/thinkin' couplet.
