| Parody Song Title: | "Duet Parody (Likewise)" |
| Parody Written by: | Rick Duncan |
This is from a complete parody of "The H.M.S. Pinafore". The concept is the whole thing takes place in a bar like "Cheers" And Yes, it took a lot of beer to write it.
GUTT:
When a business you must run
Like tending bars or selling fun
The most important thing I've seen
Is don't put out before the green
CAPT:
I understand
Cash in hand
GUTT
If a patron comes up short
(Mine often do, they are the sort)
You cut them off with one big NO
And very soon the cash does flow
CAPT:
She should know
She's a pro
GUTT:
Times are hard the money's tight
When you're a worker of the night
The only way to still this bunch
Tell them that there's no free lunch
CAPT:
Nothing's free
Woe is me
When a business you must run
Like tending bars or selling fun
The most important thing I've seen
Is don't put out before the green
CAPT:
I understand
Cash in hand
