Shuckin' time,
But the shivvin' ain't easy.
Fish are one thing:
They get caught on a line.

But clams, a bitch.
They need more than just hookin'.
You must split shells--tasty,
Though, to dine.

Tubs at the moorings
Are filled nearly to the rigging.
Some clams are quite big--
Takes much work for their pryin'.

Epithets pouring
Forth; the mildest is "frigging!"
The rest of them are way out of line
