Parody Song Title:

"Rudy The New York Mayor"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Written in 1999, before Mayor Rudy Guiliani dropped out of the race for U.S. Senator from New York against Hillary Clinton, who soundly beat his replacement, Rick Lazio
You know Rudy is running for Senate 'gainst Hillary
Comically stupid, his antics we'll pillory
He could lose it all
The 2000 election this fall

Rudolph the New York Mayor
Is a very slimy foe
And if you ever saw him
You would know what New York knows

The people of his city
Often laugh and call him names
They get upset when Rudolph
Plays his demagogic games

Next year on Election Eve
New York State will say:
"Rudolph and the hard-nosed Right...
Won't you lose your seats tonight?"

Then, pow! The pain will numb him
Democrats shout out with glee:
"Rudolph the New York Mayor,
You'll go down 'gainst Hillary!"
