Unfair? Arbitrary:
Arbiters won't let us see
Some lyric strands; others aren't scanned.
The watching's slipshod, and it's flailing.

Somewhere, behind the "see,"
Watching's arbitrary.
Is there a sty in someone's eye?
Or perhaps someone's sight is failing?

Scar on the retina?
Or fear of ribald tunes?
Don't know, but what's left out
Seems based on phases of moons.

Despite rectitude lore,
Sometimes we see hardcore.
Apt it would be—real policy,
Instead of this hit-or-miss flailing.
