Speculation, of course, but many hunting accidents do involve alcohol. "Stented": Cheney has a history of heart problems and has had stents implanted. Gibson: a dry martini with a pearl onion. "Shunnin' Larry" refers to Cheney's choice of Fox News for this professionally crafted confessional, rather than honed atonement via Larry King. I could go on forever with crazy-Cheney parodies, but I won't.
Gunnin' Harry, slugs in Harry--
Got no feathers and no aviary.
Dick was heard to mutter:
"I swear that I heard his wings flutter."
Gunnin' Harry, drunk, unwary;
Dump more vodka in that Bloody Mary!
Harry's vein's now vented
