The Lyrics

Here is the song that was all about the ongoing parody of the 1951 "Beat the Clock" broadcast that dealt with boy scouts, as well as her assistant Roxanne as well as the elephant.
Well, I've got a boy scout
Way downtown
They're good to me oh, yeah
Say. I've got a boy scout
Way downtown
They're good to me oh, yeah

They're here in the program,
loving me
Yeah, they dealt themselves with Roxanne

They says Boy, you're terrific, cheesecake!
Just for me
Oh, yeah you know the elephant is coming
Oh, naturally

They're there to see me on the Beat the Clock set
No noises or screams, treats me right
They came to the Roxanne
Loving me alone
They knows Roxanne is seeing them to the big set

Well, they're my big set
And say Smile, please!
Thans to George & Germaine Britt for them! And this is the greatest moment in television and human history.

This is originally a Ray Charles song. Didnt know Elvis covered it. But then again, he did cover other songs originally done by Southern Black artist when he was young ... Hound Dog comes to mind
