The Lyrics

Part of Matthias's Halloween carols community project. I know Matthias just did this, but I came up with the idea first, but got too busy to execute it until now. To be fair, though, his was the Gene Autry version.
Here comes Dracula, here comes Dracula
Garlic’s Dracula’s bane
He’s got fangs to bite the necks of
Every single dame

Doors are creaking, people shrieking
All is scary and fright
Grab your mallet and grab your stake
'Cause Dracula comes tonight

Here comes Dracula, here comes Dracula
He (i)s bats just like Bruce Wayne
He's got a cape, he’s thrilled, enjoys
To book a flight again

Your neck’s feeling tingled, tangled
Skin is turning ghost white
Jump in bed and cover up your head
Because Dracula surely bites

Here comes Dracula, here comes Dracula
You (wi)ll be covered in blains
You better hope a Dr. Abe Van Helsing
(Helps) get your doorbell rang

Helsing knows what stops a blood beast
Garlic, crosses, daylight
Rent some films to help you here
But Dracula ain’t Twilight

Well, here comes Dracula, here comes Dracula
Locking your windows and panes
He'll come around till your neck bleeds out
Your folks will mourn again

Piece of wood should stop his heart
If that fails, grab a flashlight
Sink like tank to the world below
'Cause dust is what Drac will bite
Yeah, dust is what Drac will bite

Always loved the Elvis version. It's kind of cool to see how two parodists can take the same idea and same title and come up with an entirely different song! I did steal your idea because I really liked the title and idea behind it but I think yours was actually funnier with lines like: "But Dracula ain’t Twilight" in there!
