General McChrystal's request for more troops in Afghanistan, filed on August 30, awaits a decision by the 44th US President. I apply George W. Bush's self-description to The One in my parody of this original song chastizing an uncommitted lover.

Nicely capsulized! Obama campaigned on the principle the War in Afghanistan was a "war of necessity." He institutes a new strategy. He desn't talk to the top commander in months. He sits on a report requesting reinforcements for 6 weeks. He says it is a NATO war. Now it looks like he's recognizing its importance - in that his foreign policy is hurting his domestic agenda. Very disturbing. 555
