Aggghhh! The 1's guy got me!
I dunno, pacing was a bit off. And in the third stanza, you have a misrhymed pair of words: "too" and "part". I vote 4-3-2.

Adagio has a keen style, of daring to make the key words and choruses not rhyme. That could go against her to purists, like myself. But reviewing much of her work, thanks to Adagio Appreciation Week, i do get some appreciation out of her work. I would call her the Emily Dickinson of Amiright--very poetic, very personal, writing a lot from the heart as well as the mind.

Thank you for reading my parody and leaving a comment, so I thought I'd take a look at yours in return! It's got some humor to the subject, but I'd have to agree mine surely touches how life is rough today. I am fed up with President Bush, not to mention the constant struggles we all face in a dog-eat-dog world with trying to make money, survive in life, and find a way to stay happy all the time! Everybody fights and argues, but I love how in yours you mention how we really take technology for granted in the first verse! Imagine having to be Amish for a whole year, then you'd learn to appreciate the world!
