Song Parodies -> Baisez Moi Beaucoup
| Original Song Title: | "Besame Mucho" |
| Original Performer: | Dean Martin, others |
| Parody Song Title: | "Baisez Moi Beaucoup" |
| Parody Written by: | John A. Barry |
"Besame mucho" is Spanish for "kiss me a lot." "Baisez moi beaucoup" might appear to mean the same thing in French. "Le baiser" is "the kiss." But "embrasser" means "to kiss." As the French-slang book "Merde!" warns: "Never say 'je l'ai baissée' when you only mean 'I kissed her'.""Zut alors" is an all-purpose exclamation. The last line of this parody contains the phrase that Dick Cheney uttered to Sen. Patrick Leahy on the Senate floor.
Baisez Moi Beaucoup
Baisez moi, baisez moi beaucoup.
Definition here not "kiss"—a meaning less refined.
Baisez moi, baisez moi beaucoup
Boldly, my darling, I ask you if you'd like to grind.
When I was a boy in school, I made it through French II.
The constant drill was a bore.
One day I got caught; the teacher was scolding me
For whispering, "Ah, zut alors!"
Many years later, she saw me
I seemed more coarse than in her course, and after "bonjour":
"Baisez moi, baisez moi beaucoup."
She scowled at me and then said, "Va te faire foutre!"

It's not the parody but the book referred to by Martha on Sept 3rd 2004. I too had the book 'A Coarser French Coarse'. Now sadly lost, I would love to see a copy. Any ideas?
