This is a song that pokes fun at the phenomenon of "Christmas creep", that is, when retailers start their sales for the holiday season before Black Friday (many retailers even start in late October, and most have started Christmas/holiday sales by November 1). Anyway, it's about something that drives me CRAZY!

Halloween candy hit the store shelves in August, a week or so before the commercial Halloween haunted houses opened up. A one-evening holiday stretched to two months. And, a house across the street from me had its Christmas lights on over the weekend. Sadly, Thanksgiving, a true American holiday, has been radically truncated to squeeze in a few hours more of standing in line to grapple over mass-produced Chinese electronic junk. Happy Holi-half-a-day.
I love Christmas so much I honestly don't mind besides the earlier egg nog goes on sale the better! "drools" that said this was still very funny and well written 5's!
