Hey wow, nice tribute. I have followed Sven since he first cracked open his coffin in the 70s at WFLD-TV in Chicago (he is still based here at WCIU-TV). Dude,consider doing this again, with extra verses and email it to him!
Yeah, Sven is a great host. Back in the '70s, my brother and I would stay up late to watch the creature features hosted by Sacramento's Bob Wilkins who had combed over blonde hair, horned rim black glasses and who smoked a fat cigar in a rocking chair!!! My mom thought he was both disgusting and a bad influence. We loved him as much as Pat Patterson vs the Masked Marvels in pre-WWF wresting!!! Mom later loved to stay up late and watch Tom Labrie's Night Comfort Theater (Tom was from Sacramento's Labrie's waterbeds). We thought Tom was a sleeze!
Kansas City had Penny Dreadful in the late afternoon and Gregory Graves at night. I remember watching Elvira with my cousin, both of us hoping she would have a "wardrobe malfunction". Later saw her as Cassandra Peterson in a magazine centerfold, showing what she barely managed to conceal on TV.
