"Flash Mobs" that invade high-end stores in California and elsewhere are becoming all too commonplace, spurred by lax law enforcement.and subsequent lack of prosecution. They wield tools to break windows and display cases then exit quickly to getaway cars. They defeat security cameras by wearing black hoodies and face masks. In my lyrics, accent the second syllable in "shoplift" since they are lifting rather than shopping.
