The Lyrics

Reading this may help people control the constant-connectivity habit better than any proposed nanny-state law. Sing to the tune of TOS.
Sit in hallways, busy always, pressing all the day, while
On the air, share appealing charismas.
Children sexting, people texting, tweeting mile after mile;
But in Internet cafes, you fear.

Will your cells kill brain cells? Alzheimer's mime is a pity.
Tin-gl-ing ears may bring sooner for me listless way.

Swing thru yield-signs, even stop-lights, thinking bright red's unseen.
After shopping, text home 'bout your treasures.
Hear the cars crunch, screeching skids bunch, twisted fantastic scene
That has shoved bone through muscle. Oh dear!

Still your cells; nil your cells. Drive-texting's crime, sin, not witty.
Fingering, steer and sing, "Soon you will see prison gray."
I'm sorry if that depressed you. Happy Christmas to all, and to all amIright.

Line 5 should start "Will phone cells ...". In line 7, "bright red's unseen" could be "bright red's like green" or "light will turn green" or "right turn's unseen" (except by cameras). Ending "prison gray" alludes to a third type of cell.

I like the way you sub to makes lines and phrases sound close to the original...Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Holidays

Tell me about it...my dad's been hounding me on surfing the net in my cell phone because he's afraid I'd be running up the phone bill! I always carry this "bad habit" in Florida anyways because it's the only way I can keep myself entertained without my FIOS and PC Internet. Everything you said was true and I agree with AFW on the way you sub lines and phrases...great work, Barry!
