The Lyrics

This song is dedicated to the Smash Bros. in the middle of the trilogy: Super Smash Bros. Melee. This parody discusses how you have to use many different styles and techniques to beat the different challenges in Melee. (This time I matched all of the rhyming more or less to the actual OS.)
Sandbag to smack around,
All Star’s last, Lots of trophies to be found
Improved from the first one
Better moveset, More stuff to get, improved sound.

Play as Mewtwo
Or Pikachu
Just don’t spam Thunder.

Right next to Brawl
Where this game lies
There’s one point I
Should emphasize
Melee requires a thousand styles
To beat the CPU
That’s right

Everybody agrees
That the game’s tech crew,
With their special mode brought the series more glory
Adventure can take long
But nothing’s wrong
With how they made the game run flawlessly
Love from Nayru,
A firm rescue
But, PK Thunder...

A Fireball’s a firefly
Compared to all attacks I spy
Melee requires a thousand styles
To beat the CPU
That’s right

Why? Why?
Can he not be KO’ed?
Why? Why?
Do they team up on me?
Why? Why’d?
They freeze on Poke Floats?
I don’t know

Wow, I was knocked around,
All Star’s passed, Unlocked Fourside from Earthbound.
Caught in the Ray Gun’s way, One Home Run Bat,
Cannot dodge that, It’s profound

Yes, it’s so true
When on Big Blue
No room for blunder

The ones that stall with Temple’s size
Only postpone their sure demise
Melee requires a thousand styles
To beat the CPU…

Some jump off walls, one nearly flies
And Crazy Hand’s a big surprise
Melee requires a thousand styles
To beat the CPU
Oh yes, on the Gamecube
That’s right

Hey I loved it but TOS was made from the 00s not the 90s. Still it gets a good score from me.

I picked the 90s by accident, but thanks for the comment!
