Awful PC ways of saying Ahoy Matay
Would never ask a lady to marry him
Wouldn't want to mess with the proper and prim
Might steal a kiss as he sailed away
Off to heist more loot and rum from another bay

I should've been a pirate
I should've learned to pillage and plunder
Carrying my sharp sword riding my pirate ship over and under
Stealing coastal dwellers gold
Like Henry Morgan and Lafitte
Singing yo ho ho and a bottle of rum
I should've been a pirate

I might've had a sidekick who's a trick shot with an arrow
Running wild in the Caribbean like Captain Jack Sparrow
Always standing on the edge of danger
But always evading the lawmen rangers
Sailing the seas because I've been told
That's the best way to get the gold
But gotta keep moving and always stay loose
So I don't end up with my neck in the noose.
