Inspired by the scene in "The Two Towers" Where Gollum is having that "discussion" with himself over getting the One Ring back from Frodo and Sam. To make it simple ,let's assume the lines without quotation marks are the "good" part of Gollums conscience and the lines in quotation marks are the "evil'" part .( Wow! Talk about a blurry line !)( the lines in parenthesis can be both sides at once!)

Great Idea! Wish I had thought of it. I´ve parodied the original myself ("If you´re gonna be my lover you gotta get rid those kids") and there´s some parts that are VERY hard to pace. I got a lot of triple fives but honestly it was rather a four - four point five on the pacing. And so is yours but that´s still good here. Very good actually. 455 and this feedback.
Even with only two personalities, Gollum still had more than the Spice Girls had combined, and you brought them both over brilliantly. I loved it :-)
'Specially cause the fat one wants to break our necks!" LOL, TTP. There was a time when I was going to do this song...but it proved too "tricksy" for me...; ) So...FABulous...and 5s for you!
K1CHYD,: the "rap" part was definately the hardest to pace-especially 'cause it did'nt make sense as well it sounded in the original. Adam E.: The splitting of the personalities was the most fun part of doing this parody for me ! Arwen:That was my favorite line,too ! I had finished writing this when the crash had started and I'm glad that it's over now. For the last couple of weeks,I've been trying to write a "The Boys of Summer" parody called "Riders of Rohan" (The "Cadillac" line goes, "I saw a White-hand Tattoo on a Uruk's face.") Thank you all for your comments and as for your votes,when the next crash comes,I'll either hold them close to me or be swept away with them in the storm.
Hmmm,here's a thought---suppose they did the "Lord of the Rings" series like they did the video for "Wannabe"---in TWO takes ?
I´m sure that was only because the girls had more important career issues to attend to, like painting their finger nails, barfing up lunch, doing the managers and learning to read cue cards. Not necessarily in that order though. ;-)
Actually,each of those tasks was assigned to a different Spice Girl...
Oh, that was so hilarious. My sister is addicted to the Spice Girls, and my brother is addicted to Lord of the Rings. so, you know, it's a mania at my house. Especially after I wrote a play that involves Smeagle popping in and out saying stuff like "My precious....Oakland A's."
