The Lyrics

This song was originally done by the Swingin' Blue Jeans, but I prefer the Beatles version....
Your man's a flake?
Get him on Ricki, Ricki Lake
Adult'rous snake
Should be on Ricki, Ricki Lake!

Yoouuu.weren't on the pill
You've had kiddies, kiddieseight!
Phil's nailing Jill now
Proposed on Ricki, Ricki Lake.
Jerk's gonna brag
Ooohon Ricki, Ricki Lake

Now there's hookers on your left
And trannies on your right
The critics claim that Ms. Lake
Is just Springer-lite!

Well, maybe
Ooohh... time for ad break
Ooohhnext guest's in drag!
Yeah, on Ricki, Ricki Lake

Well, she made John Waters films
Some said those films did blow
She lost a load of weight, weight
And got her own show!

Oohh baby.Jo-lene hates Jake
Oohh, she trashed his Jag
Sothey went on Ricki Lake
Andthey fought on Ricki Lake
Gotdivorced on Ricki Lake!

Haven't seen Ricki Lake in ages but good play on TOS. 5s. What John Waters films was she in?

Go Kristof, go Kristof, go Kristof! And I have to give Ricki credit: As tawdry as her show got at times, she had two opportunites (that I can remember) to do a show where she gave birth on the air, and chose not to try it. Ant: "Hairspray" (now a Broadway musical), "Cry-Baby," "Serial Mom," "Cecil B. Demented," and "A Dirty Shame."

I see Michael's three "go Kristof"s, and raise it 2 for 5s - the show's crass, but her wise words of wisdom at the end are recorded daily by Mandela, I believe - 555

Red AnT: Thanks mate, and see Michaelopedia's comment for your answer
Michael: Not give birth on air? No wonder Springer's still on top.
Stu: hehehehe....the Labour Government here in the UK actually uses Ricki's shows to formulate policy.
AFW: Yeah, I haven't seen it in a good few years either. Good thing, actually
Pip: Cheers, halfling!"
Bye y'all....
