555, although pacing is " Lots " not perfect here.
To search through the site, you can look up authors, decades and original song titles ( for example this would be in the 90s under the letter "S" ). The searching by band only shows generally the last 6-10 submissions by them as ChuckyG has done away with that search as it was causing problems.
If you want to search for a song to see if it has been parodied before do a decade search under the first letter of the song. There will be songs listed in the wrong decade at times and sometimes certain decades have more than one letter to search under ( usually A, I and T ). It may take a bit of digging around, especially if the song has been covered alot or was remembered differently ( and example would be Simon & Garfunkle's " The Sound of Silence " ( released in the 60s ) but may show up as " Sound(s) of Silence " under "S" in the 60s or 70s ).

Hey, not bad! I hear ya on the whole "search" thing, and I myself wondered what happened. Oh well, now I do what my pal the Crimson Insect above suggests. And this parody, pretty dang good!
